Illumination Psychotherapy, PLLC focuses on helping individuals & couples create space in their lives through the power of connection.
Our team is looking for like-minded virtual and in-person Psychotherapists who are passionate about a niche to join the practice to continue to expand across the state of Illinois.
The ideal candidate would be willing to start with 1-4 sessions per week, with the option to grow as the practice expands.
Therapists have the option to be in-office & virtually through a secure telehealth platform.

Perform on-site clinical counseling services to patients of Illumination Psychotherapy, PLLC [Illumination Psychotherapy] as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work are required
Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules and regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed.
Respond to patients’ requests for services or calls within the time indicated within the employee handbook whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc., or through the business website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc) as necessary.
Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-time-time by Illumination Psychotherapy, or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion. Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by Illumination Psychotherapy.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Illumination Psychotherapy
Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of Illumination Psychotherapy. Be respectful and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.

Flexible hours allow you to create your own schedule
Compensation: $50 per clinical hour; $25 per administrative hour
CEU stipend after 6 months of employment

Group supervision by an LCSW

Minimum of a master's degree in Counseling or a related field
Illinois license - active
Liability insurance - active
Knowledge of the DSM 5 and effective assessment and treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, couples/family, grief and loss, and substance use disorders
Warmth and professionalism, excellent communication skills, and ability to work as a team member
Commitment to personal growth and development
Ability to work independently but be open to consultation and support when needed

Schedule appointments in a timely manner
Creation and maintenance of client’s electronic charts
Learn about insurance and billing for mental health services (we screen initial clients, verify their insurance and inform them of the benefits
Develop and implement treatment plans
Apply evidence-based practices to support clients with co-occurring conditions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records including electronic health records
Willing to get credentialed with BCBS-IL PPO plans
